* The reference, in this document of dog, shall be the one refered to above.

*Terms of owning a Byrd's APBT.

*Any indication that the dog is being used for illegal purposes (i.e. fighting) the dog will be repossessed and the authorities contacted.  Any indication that the dog is abused or neglected, said dog will be repossessed. Said dog will be rehabilitated and placed in a suitable home.

* No refunds for Repossessed dogs.

* Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, unless by fault of Breeder.

* Should the dog be determined physically in ill health or with a life threatening health issue, (this does not include communicable diseases), within 30 days of sighning this agreement, the cause which is clearly attributable to seller, the dog may be returned with written diagnosis from (2) licensed veterinarians, a full refund of purchase price of pup ONLY, or another puppy shall be given as a replacement whichever is mutually agreeable.

* One half of the sales price is to be forfeited if the dog is returned for any reason than failure to pass Veterinarian examination. (all shipping costs are responsiblity of Buyer.)

* Byrd's APBT Guarantees the dog to be current on all vaccinations and worming at time of purchase. Byrd's cannot be held responsible for health defects due to Buyers Negligence regarding vaccinations and worming and veterinarian checkups after date of sale.

* Buyer is to notify Byrd's on a Yearly basis as to the dog's condition, provide a current photo and advise Byrd's of any changes in address or phone number.

*  I / We agree to Never change the name of Byrd's off the Pedigree, the name shall remane for the life of the dog.

*  All Puppies / Dogs placed in Pet Homes Must be Spayed or Neutered.

*  All Puppies / Dogs placed in Show Homes must be Shown.

* Buyer will Immediately notify Byrd's if dog is sold, given away, stolen or lost.

* Buyer agrees not to sell this puppy/dog or any of it's offspring to retailers, wholesalers, or for auction or research.

* The Breeder reserves the right to inquire and inspect the dogs housing and quarters. if the breeder finds the dog in an unsanitary and / or in poor health condition, the breeder has right to take the dog back from Buyer with no comensation to Buyer.

* Buyer will make themselves Very aware of any possible bans, ordinances, ect. in their county, community, that are breed spectific. As a Responsible American Pitbull Terrier owner, Buyer must regulary check up on these possibilities as well Promote the Breed in an Extremely Positive manner.

* You as the New Owner have a Great responsibility to maintain your dog's emotional and physical well-being.

* Maintain a sound feeding program.

* Insure continued health by regular veterinarian check-ups.

* The responsibility , love, and care you give your dog will be returned many times over in the years ahead.

* If for any any reson Buyer cannot keep this animal, Buyer will contact the breeder first, before selling, disposing or giving this animal away.

* Buyer agrees that this said puppy / dog Will-Not be used for any inhumane, immoral, or illegal purposes. If it is determined that Buyer has or is using said puppy / dog in this manner Byrd's has the right to take possession of said puppy / dog without compensation to owner. All provisions in this contract are desighned to safeguard the puppy / dog, the Breed in general (APBT), and or the community.

* Show any Pup / Dog purchased from Byrd's to CH or ACE weight pull and receive a $ 25.00 refund.

                             ***********Females**********

*All Females sold with breed rights are to be bred on their third heat.

*Byrd's APBT's will pick the Male that said female will be bred to.

*Such Male will be ADBA or UKC registered.

*Byrd's APBT"s will pay the Stud fee (if Any) for such Breeding.

*Owner of dog will pay for Brucellosis test.

*When it is time to breed your dog Byrd's APBT's will be Present at time of Breeding.

*When pregnancy is established, Byrd's APBT's will be contacted.

*Byrd's APBT's Reserves First Pick of said Litter.

*Byrd's APBT's takes full credit for such breeding. 

                 **********Males**********

*All males sold with breed rights are to be bred their first time to a female of Byrd's APBT's choice (any Color).

*The female will be ADBA or UKC registered.

*The Male is to remain "Pure" untill the time of breeding.

*the dog will not be bred untill he is at least 2(they need a little tim to mature).

*Byer agrees it must allow 1 stud service with weiver of any stud fee apon breeders request.

* Any delettions to this contract shall be struck out and initaled by both parties, additional ammendments will be noted on back of this sheet followed by siganture of both parties.

* the undersigned do hereby accept this agreement in it's entirety and acknowledge that this is a legal and binding agreement/ contract. Each party is in receipt of a signed and dated copy of this agreement.
